The Cambria Community Council is proud to have funded over $1,627,822 in grants to our local non-profit organizations since 1996 including those that support the youth, seniors, animals, emergency agencies, the ranch land, the library and the arts in our community. 

Our Partners

Country Coast Classic 

Each year the Country Coast Classic, Inc. donates substantial proceeds from the Annual Country Coast Classic Bike Ride to the Cambria Community Council. These funds are specifically allocated to fund youth activities. The Country Coast Classic can be contacted by mail at PO Box 6, Cambria, CA 93428. Website  http://countrycoastclassic.org.

American Legion Auxiliary

This year the Council also partnered with the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 432, in Cambria. Their membership raises funds throughout the year and generously donated money to the Cambria Community Council to assist in funding grants for the teachers in the Coast Unified School District.  The American Legion Auxiliary can be contacted through their website at  cambrialegion432@gmail.com.

2024/25 Grants

The 2023/24 grant cycle has ended.  The  grant cycle for 2024/25 will begin in April for Coast Unified School District grants and In July for all other non-profit organizations that serve Cambria and San Simeon. An organization or group, to be eligible for funds, must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Council that it gives recreational or social services and/or funds to persons in need of same within Cambria and San Simeon, without discrimination, and the organization must demonstrate a financial need.  All recipient organizations must be authorized to receive tax-free donations as defined by current tax laws and regulations.

The new grant application will be available on this website to be downloaded in April for CUSD employees  and in July for all other qualifying organizations. You may also contact Suzanne Kennedy at suzannekennedy0@gmail.com to be placed on our email list.  An application will then be emailed to your organization once it is released.
